Mom's Basic Meatloaf

Recipe Description
I double the recipe and it's so delicious. The edges become crispy and it's the best part of the meatloaf, in my opinion. My family loves this!
Preparation Steps:
Measure all ingredients beforehand for easier mixing.
Level of Difficulty:
Easy
Time Needed:
15 minute prep, 1 hr baking
Ingredients:
* 1 pound lean ground beef
* 2/3 cup milk
* 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
* 1/4 cup ketchup
* 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
* 1 egg, beaten
Serves:
4
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together gently. Form into a loaf and place in baking dish or loaf pan. Top with more ketchup if desired. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour.

Serves 4.

You can double the recipe and have either leftovers with mashed potatoes and a veggie or meatloaf sandwiches (ketchup and mustard on bread) with fries/salad.

Omg I know! My husband introduced me to the meatloaf sandwiches and I thought he was nuts. It tastes way better than any hamburger you're going to make. :)

My meatloaf is:
Open the refrigerator and dig out everything in bowls just about and mix it in with the meat and stuff.
