Yesterday the twins came home all excited! They had worked out a barter arrangement with a friend of ours. This friend, Julie, gives horseback riding lessons. She needed a babysitter for her 2 young children while she gave lessons to other kids. She approached Josh and Chris to see if they wanted to babysit for her and they asked her if they could barter babysitting for horseback riding lessons. She talked to us about it and we came to an agreement. So now the twins are out riding horses this morning with Julie and another friend and then they will be babysitting this afternoon. I think it's great!!! Jeff and I just had to laugh, our sons are so much like we are, always trying to find a way to get what we desire and need at the best price possible and we love to do trades and barters! I'm really proud of those two!!!

Here it is 3 hours later and they are still gone. I'm sure they are having a blast!!! I do hope they get home soon though. Josh has a lawn to do and it's looking like it might rain again here soon.

Update: The twins came home after a 3 1/2 hour ride and were very excited but also very sore. They hurt in places they didn't know you could hurt (used some muscles you don't normally use that much). They are still sleep (it's 6:15 a.m. here) and I'm not quite sure what to expect when they get up. They can't wait for their next lesson and the babysitting is going well!
