Hopefully this will hold me accountable. I like to have things in writing, and I do use a computer program, but I haven't dieted/exercised regularly in months- since the throat thing started, and I've had it. I have been SOOOOOOO bad.

I'm giving myself a year to lose 30-40 pounds. I usually do okay with the program I use (www.dietwatch.com) but then I stop using it and the weigt comes back with a vengeance.

I know that in itself isn't healthy, but I also know I need to lose weght for a couple other important reasons. I don't know if I will ever be ready to have another child, but I DO know that I will NEVER be ready if I don't lose weight. I refuse to be pregnant and 20 pounds overweight- it is just too much of a health and quality-of-life liability for me.

It is so easy for me to get away with being overweight because I am tall enough that people I see in my everyday life can't really tell. Well, I can, and now you all know, too (well, I'm sure you did before since I've had my ticker up for a while.) Anyway, hopefully I will stick with this to the end, then continue with a maintainance "diet."

I haven't exercised yet today, but I will come back and post when I do.

Okay- done for now.

10/30- 20 minutes on stationary bike.

That's all I could accomplish with a 2-year old climbing all over me. I may try to do more after DH gets home, but it is impossible to go on and on after a 26 pound child climbs on one leg and starts riding it like a horse.... LOL

You can do it Kimberly! 20 minutes is better than nothing at all!

Way to go! Three - 10 minute workouts throughout the day or whatever you can do each time you workout is just as beneficial as 1 - 30 minute workout. So, do what you can when you can and add it up at the end of the day!

Any little bit you're doing now is better than not doing any at all. Good for you starting exercise again :)

I took a few days off last week, and now I'm finding it hard to get motivated to start again.

I am trying to wake up, and then it's off to exercise I go :)

10/30 part 2-

Well, after DH got home and took DD away for me, I did another 20 minutes of fast biking. The bike is the only thing I can use at all with her around- the treadmill she tries to get on, too, and wil get hurt, and the weight machine she will get her fingers pinched in. So, looks like a lot of biking in my future!

I was exercisng a couple weeks ago, then went out of town for a few days and didn't start again when I returned.

Y'all will keep me honest here, right? ;)
