:cloud9: is all I can say right now..

I made chicken & dumpling's for supper using of coarse the canned chicken that has it's own broth along with the dehydrated mixed veggies I dehydrated myself a month ago..some onion, celery, water, chicken cubes & dumplings..DELISH!:hurray:

I can't tell you how happy I am right now.:cheergrl:

I really hope anyone whom hasn't made their own "convience" food by pressure canning it will give it a try..the investment is soooo worth it.:fdance:

Don't know why but pressure cooking scares me.

Sounds like a really yummy meal you made. Quite impressive all the time involved with the prepping but well worth it for sure!!

I was so scared to use mine that it has been in it's box since Christmas..

today's canner's are made to be safe compared to the older pressure canner's that would explode from what I've read.My 86yr grandmother told me she is terrified of them..I never asked what happened to her.

I can only tell you that I felt comfortable after having my dh around the first time using the pc..youshould search bexarprepper on youtube you will learn alot from her...I just feel really comfortable learning from her and she is why I decided that I needed to learn how to use my canner...this woman is AMAZING I'll tell ya.
