My Goodwill Wedding outfit

My DSS got married a week ago Saturday so I had to have an outfit for the ceremony. I got a pair of snazzy black dress pants, a tailored short black/white dress that I used as a mid thigh length top, a pair of black patent high heeled shoes, and a crochet black rope evening purse and I only spent $14.63. I don't think I've felt so rich in an outfit for a long time.

~"Formal" wear is such a great thing to get secondhand. They're so rarely worn and carefully used. :thumb: ~
Great deal! Congrats to your DSS too! :)

Way to go! My ds is getting married this summer and I am dreading shopping for an outfit. Number one reason, I don't like to shop that much for anything fancy, number two the cost of an outfit for one wearing. I guess I better get a move on to start scouring the consignment shops. I keep saying when I lose 10-15 more lbs. I'd love for that to happen, but am not sure if it will.

Well I don'e have any pics of me wearing the outfit. I'll have to see if I can get a pic of the items. I'm not sure how to post pics so don't hold your breath.:shrug2:

Good for you for having to sense to look like a million bucks for the event without spending a fortune!
