The other day I was in Hobby Lobby to buy two skeins of yarn I needed. And of course, picked up four more I did not need because, well, they were such a wonderful color and I'll use them sometime, right? (No answer required.)

I had one of their 40% off coupons for one of the skeins. The check out clerk did not scan them individually, as she probably should have for inventory, just keyed in a number x 6. Scanned the coupon, it came up, total with tax included, 9.99. She looked at it, I said it should be more, she scurried off to consult with a manager. Eventually she came back. The conclusion was that it would be too hard to fix, so to let it go. So I got 40% off all six skeins. If it hadn't been so crowded I imagine they would have figues out to fix it. Anyway, saved about $7.

Now and then shopping in a crowd is a good thing!
