I wanted to post a pic of my shade garden. My backyard is pretty shady. It gets some dappled sunlight in the early morning but that's about all. I've finally found a mix of plants that I enjoy. I have columbine, bleeding hearts, and goose neck strife. I also have lenten rose, which blooms for quite a long time, and the dried flowers stay so pretty.

I've never posted a pic before with a message so if there's no pic here, then I didn't figure it out!

Pam, that is beautiful. We started planting this weekend and getting our backyard and front yard ready to be landscaped. I can't wait to go outside and get that going. We also have the same problem with not getting a lot of sun in some spots, I've got to try and plant what you've got planted.

How pretty! I love the look of flowers against a white picket fence.

Thanks everyone! You can see that I really fill my beds up. I like wall to wall flowers so that I don't have to do much weeding :)
