Nasi Goreng

Recipe Description
Asian style rice​
Preparation Steps:

Time Needed:
35 minutes​
300g long grain rice
2 eggs, beaten
3 cloves garlic
2 red chillies, thinly sliced
2 onions, sliced
3 tbsp groundnut oil
1 yellow pepper, thin strips
1 carrot, thin strips
2 tbsp dark soy sauce
4 spring onions, shredded
4 tbsp fresh chopped coriander​
Put the rice into a wok and add a pint of water, bring to the boil. Cover and cook on a low heat for 15 minutes until the liquid is absorbed (add more if needed). Tip into a dish and cool.

Heat the wok, add the eggs and cook, stirring until scrambled. Set aside. Blend the garlic, one chilli and one onion to a paste then fry for 1 minute. Add the vegetables, onion and chilli, stir fry for 2 minutes.

Add the rice and stirfry for 3 minutes. Add all other ingredients, heat through and serve​
