I'm into natural cures, remedies, and the like. I feel eating healthy is the best way to prevent health problems, but who eats healthy all the time?! What are your go to natural remedies and stay healthy regimens?

I cut back on sugar and gave up soda a long time ago. I try to avoid most processed "food" products, but like you said it's hard to do that all the time. Alcohol in moderation, and never a smoker. I try to stay active, within the limits of my joint disease. Pretty much everything a doctor is going to tell you. I take a lot of prescription medicine because I feel that is the best way to address my issues in a scientifically controlled and tested way. I do also take vitamins and supplements like iron, B12, and vit D, but I don't believe in any magic pills that cure anything. The supplements industry is largely unregulated when it comes to claims about what they do, and what's actually in the products.

Lots of walking and yard and housework for exercise. Try not to spend too much time sitting or being inactive. I stay away from people and news that is stressful, lots of alone and quiet time. I find relaxation videos/podcasts to be effective.
Drink plenty of water. It’s so important to stay well hydrated.

Exercise - we don’t belong to a gym but we have a pool and we swim in the warmer months. In the colder times we walk and have a hybrid trainer we use to keep moving. My husband is disabled so he can’t do quite as much but he does a little bit here and there when he can.

Healthy eating - I’ve spent more time the past year trying different seasonings, herbs etc to spice up the taste of foods without using salt. I’m not a vegetable lover at all and that’s been a struggle for me. I’ve been trying more veggies in different ways (raw, cooked etc) to see if Ican retrain my palate. Not having a huge amount of success but I’m still trying. I do take a daily multivitamin to hopefully cover anything I’m lacking but I agree with CH - I don’t think they are a cure all.
