Nectarine Mustard


Recipe Description
I am not a fan of mustard, but I can eat this stuff right out of the jar!! Save a piece of summer!!​
Preparation Steps:
Combine mustard and just enough water in a med-size container to form a smooth paste. Cover and set aside.​

Easy​
Time Needed:
Approx 1 hour​
Ingredients:
1/2 c. dry mustard
1 c. cider vinegar
1/ c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1/4 t. turmeric
2 c. ripe nectarines, pureed​
Serves:
Depending on size/juiciness of nectarines, 3 to 4 half-pints​
Directions:
Combine remaining ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil. Boil 3 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk mixture, 1/4 c. at a time, into the mustard paste until blended. Puree in blender/food processor until smooth.

Ladle into hot jars, leaving 1/4" head space. Process 15 minutes in bwb canner.​

Oh, that sounds so good. I love mustard and this looks like it will be great on a brat.... just enough sweetness.
