Here's my recipe for Broccoli Cheese Soup in the Crock Pot, posted on RecipeZaar: http://www.recipezaar.com/112595

If you try it, it could use a review on there! ;)

That sounds like a great recipe Amy, I added it to my Zaar cookbook and will try it soon. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Amy,
I made the broccoli cheese soup today. We served it over baked potatoes. I only had one can of the cheddar cheese soup so I made 1/2 a batch. I had enough to feed four people. Do you have any other recipes that use evaporated milk? Also, I posted a review of it on Recipezaar. I enjoy reading your "Cooking Adventures" blog.

Thanks! :) I'm glad you enjoyed it.

My potato soup uses evap milk: http://www.recipezaar.com/83666

And I'm sure you could sub it for regular milk in my potato and corn chowder recipe: http://www.recipezaar.com/203181

If you're on the RecipeZaar site, you can type in "evaporated milk" and click on search by ingredient.

I love recipezarr. I discovered it a couple of years ago and have been hooked since. Even though I have nearly 100 cookbooks I find myself turning to the zaar whenever I want to make something.
