Oatmeal Cookies


Recipe Description
These are an old fashion oatmeal cookie. You can make them as big or little as you like, so they can be made bite sized or huge. Just plain yummie!​
Preparation Steps:
set out the butter so it is room temp. Makes it cream much easier.
Heat oven to 350​
Level of Difficulty:
easy​
Time Needed:
about 5 minutes​
Ingredients:
2 sticks of margarine or butter, your choice.
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 cups oatmeal
add any the following:
1 cup chocolate chips, or raisins, or M&M's.
1/2 chopped walnuts​
Serves:
makes 3 to 5 dozen depending on size of cookies​
Directions:
Cream together the sugar, brown sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs. Then add the flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. When mixed well add the oats. Then add any of the following that you like.
chocolate chips or
raisins or
M&M's
and walnuts if wanted.​

if you over bake them at all the go hard. But you can pop them in the mirco wave with a little sprinkle of water and they are great. I also store them in a zip lock bag, it really helps them stay soft.
