Oreo Truffles


Recipe Description
An easy candy or dessert to enjoy! Delicious!​
Preparation Steps:

Time Needed:
1 hour​
Ingredients:
8 oz. cream cheese, soften

1 pkg Oreos

White Chocolate for melting

Food Parafin Wax, optional​
Serves:
Directions:
1. Crush the Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs.

2. Mix with cream cheese until you can make a small ball and it sticks together.

3. Line a baking tray with wax paper and roll mixture into small balls about the size of a walnut.

4. Place in refrigerator or freezer for about 20 minutes.

5. Melt the white chocolate with the parrafin wax if using. I have melted the chocolate in the double boiler on top of the stove and I have melted it in the microwave. Do whichever way is easier for you.

6. Remove truffle balls from refrigerator and dip into the melted chocolate and place back on the tray. Let stand on the counter until the chocolate hardens. Transfer to a covered dish and store in the refrigerator.

You can eat these right out of the refrigerator or you can let them come to room temperature for about 15 minutes.​
