Look for places being targeted at UCF students. A couple that were coworkers of mine got a partially furnished duplex with lots of 'included's' for $700 a month.

Thanks for info Mrs. Foamy the kids are currently students and have found most rentals want at least a 6 month lease.

We live in Cocoa and my husband makes the drive to UCF four days a week. It's only about a half an hour to 45 . Would they consider a bit of a drive?

A couple of things they might be able to do:

1. Check with a few local hotels. I know there's a Microtel that just opened right off the 408 that's not too far of a drive from UCF. They offer weekly rates. There's also Homewodd Suites and a few others.

2. Check with some local realtors about corporate rentals. I think with Lockheed Martin being out toward UCF, there should be a few short term rentals available.

3. Have your daughter check with the college about what they do when they have visiting professors. Usually the school will arrange something when they have visiting faculty.

Hope it helps.

Sorry can't help either. My son drives from Melbourne to UCF 3x a week. Like AnnK said it is about 45 min or so maybe a little longer for my son as he is coming from a little more south.
