Shhhhhh Don't tell my wife...:D

She has about 70 PB novels in the basement I would love to have mysteriously disappear. Is there any interest in these? If there is I will get a list of em. I think they are all romance type novels.

I have a bunch of handyman magazines if there is any interest there.

We would need to know the authors. LOL

If my hubby did this, I would kill him.

I'm betting she brings the books out of the basement, and ties him up and leaves him in the basement. ROFL

you women are too funny.

Thinking about this a bit more...

Just how much would you pay for a book? Lets not forget I would have to ship them so that would drive the cost up.

It would depend on the book...need titles and authors.
details :)
Then so much a book and then shipping on top of that
is how I would do it.
Media rate is the cheapest way to go.

You can sell all of them one BID price....moves them out faster.

or you can break it down by so many books, let people choose.
Will take longer, but you can probably get bigger prices.

In the basement....is this dry storage ?

Yes, would depend on the title and author. You might have some rare treasures in there.

For romance novels? No more than $1 apiece. There's a billion of them out there.

Romance books are normally a dime a dozen ....
but if there is a series or a group by one author, you might be able to get more for them. Maybe even put them up on ebay. You will have to pay the fees but you might get better money.

What about posting them on Craig's List or Kijiji locally? Then agree to meet up with the seller? Would cost less then shipping no?

So what's the latest with your books - er your wife's books?

I am a bookaholic - no shame here and would love to find out the titles, authors - if they still might be available.

maybe she found out about his plan?

:giggle:

seriously, I personally wouldn't pay more than 50 cents for a romance pb type book, BUT I think you may do well if you group them all together & sell as one large lot on craigslist.

have you looked for a used bookstore in your area that pays cash?
