Pecan Crunch Candy
Recipe Description
This is a great recipe that can be made and cut up into bars or chunked into candy pieces. So easy and so decadent!
Preparation Steps:Line a 9 inch square pan with foil and butter the foil. Cover the bottom of the pan with chocolate chips.

Time Needed:15 minutes
Ingredients:2 cups chocolate chips

1 1/2 cups pecans (or cashews)
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 TBS corn syrup

Directions:Combine nuts, butter, sugar and corn syrup in a large skillet or saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved. Increase heat to medium, cook (stirring constantly for 10 minutes). When done, the mix should start to cling together and turn brown. Pour hot mixture over chocolate chips and spread out evenly. Refridgerate until chocolate is firm and caramel top is hardened. Flip pan upside down on cutting board and remove from pan. Remove foil and break into pieces or cut into squares.
