Peppered Rice

Recipe Description
This is one of my family's favorite rice dishes. It is easy and I've been making it for years. Use as much of each ingredient as you'd like or as you have on hand. The more veggies, the tastier it is.
Preparation Steps:
Cook Rice
Chop onion and green pepper.
Open small can of mushroom pieces and drain.
Open small jar of yellow pepper sandwich rings - not the hot ones.
Unwrap one stick of butter or margarine.
Level of Difficulty:
Easy
Time Needed:
20 minutes
Ingredients:
Cooked rice
Green pepper
Onion
Small can mushrooms
Small jar yellow pepper sandwich rings - not hot
Butter or margarine
Salt and pepper to taste
Serves:
Depends - usually 4-8
Directions:
Saute the chopped onion, green pepper, drained mushroom pieces and some of the yellow pepper sandwich rings until the onions are transparent. (I use about equal amounts of each.) Don't scorch the onions!

Add cooked rice and stir to coat and mix all ingredients together.

Salt and pepper to taste. Add more butter, if too dry.

Done!
