Persian Chicken

Recipe Description
This dish smells and tastes so exotic...It'll seem as if you're actually in the Middle East...
Preparation Steps:
Mix marinade ingredients with chicken and let marinate overnight.
Level of Difficulty:
Time Needed:
-1 medium lemon
-2 tsp extra virgin olive
-1 tsp ground cinnamon
-1/2 tsp salt
-1/4 tsp pepper
-1/4 tsp turmeric
-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
-4 flour tortillas
-your choice of fresh or frozen veggies-(we usually use fresh zucchini, onion, bell peppers, etc...)
-Juice lemon.
-In a zip top bag, add lemon juice, oil, s and p, and turmeric. (Can modify amounts of spices to suit your family's tastes-we usually add a tiny bit more turmeric and s & p)
-Gently mix ingredients in the bag.
-Add chicken; seal and turn to coat thoroughly.
-Let marinate overnight or at least 6-8 hours.
-Remove chicken and immediately put onto grill; discard marinade.
-Grill 7 minutes on each side or until done. (internal temp reaches 180 degrees on an instant read thermometer)
-While chicken grills, grill the veggies also. (We either use a disposable aluminum grill pan or our actual grill basket thing to use with the grill. We also reserve a small amount of unused marinade to season the veggies with.)

Serve with the grilled veggies, couscous, and a small salad.
