2 lbs. Pork Roast (I used Center Cut Pork Loin Roast)
1 large onion, sliced
1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
2 cups water
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic, minced or 1 tsp. minced garlic (can sub. dried minced garlic, not powder)
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning
1 tps. italian seasoning.

Spray entire crock pot with Pam spray or use the Reynold's Crock Pot liners.
Slice one large onion and cover bottom of crock pot with it.
Place pork pot roast on top of onion.
Mix remaining ingredients together and then pour over roast.
You may add 1/2 lb. or 1 lb. of baby carrots on top of roast if desired.

Cook on low for 8 hours. A 2 lb. roast should serve 4-6 people.

Now you have a use for all of those left over soy sauce packets from take out Chinese food, LOL. If you don't have soy sauce you can sub either Kitchen Bouquet (just dilute it with water) or worcestershire sauce. Feel free to alter this recipe. It's hard to "mess up" just watch your salt use.

I have two very large and thick center cut loin
pork chops. I think I'll try this recipe.
Thanks
