Here's mine:

Veggie tray with homemade dips (ranch and hummus)
Roasted chicken (I'll do 2... I doubt I'll be able to find a whole turkey here!)
Stuffing made from homemade French bread and mushrooms
Homemade cranberry sauce
Garlic smashed potatoes
Fresh rolls
Peas & pearl onions
Roasted root vegetables (winter squash, potatoes, carrots)

Dessert: American apple pie with store-bought vanilla-bean ice cream

We are going to my in-laws for Thanksgiving lunch. I think I'm bringing rice krispie treats.

My Mother is coming for supper, it will be just DH, DS2, my Mom and myself. I'm planning;

Roast a stuffed chicken
Gravy
Cranberry sauce
potato filling
Green bean almondine at my Mother's request. My oldest says it's a perfectly good way to ruin green beans. LOL!
Biscuits
Cinnamon swirl cake with buttercream frosting

To drink, probably coffee and iced tea.

My Mom is bringing ambrosia salad. This is our family recipe.

AMBROSIA SALAD
2 cans pineapple chunks, drained
2 cans mandarin oranges, drained
2 jars maraschino cherries, cut in halves. Save some juice.
1 bag mini marshmallows
Several big bananas, sliced
1-2 container sour cream, depends on how creamy you want it

Mix all together, add a bit of cherry juice at the end to add flavor and color.

I've never made green bean almondine before, this is the recipe I decided to try. If anyone here knows of a better recipe I'd appreciate it.

We are going to be kinda un-traditional this year with no turkey. The reason no turkey is b/c our ds raises them for 4h so we have already had so much turkey that when I cook it in a variety of ways for dinner I cant say turkey or no one eats it.lol. I think we might do steak and ham. but we will have the traditional mashed taters and green beans and corn and pumpkin pie, apple pie, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce.
