My BIL, David, is in the hospital. He has a blockage in his bowels. He has chrons disease and has been neglecting his health and not taking his medicine. They are doing more xrays tonight and will try to use an NG tube to go down his nose and remove the blockage first and if that doesn't work they will have to operate. This would be his 2nd intestinal operation. They will start him on steroid soon. He is very tall and skinny and can't afford to lose more weight.

Sis says he is not doing very well and is dehydrated badly so they are giving him IV Therapy for that. She said the hospital is only 5 min. from her home so she is going home at night and sleeping as she sleeps with a breathing machine (CPAC?) due to sleep apnea.

Please say a prayer or offer good thoughts for him to heal quickly and for my sis who is already worn out after one day.
