my children Love pizza and I refuse to pay $8 for cardboard at the store so I came up with my own version of personal pizza's for them.

toaster oven
1 loaf of BBQ bread (i prefer sunbeam)
1 jar pizza sauce (i make my own using tomato sauce, garlic, Italian seasoning and a bit of sea salt, warm it on the stove top)
toppings of your choice:
pepperoni, olives, onions, cheese, peppers, bacon, ham, pineapple

1. toast the bread (it hold the sauce better)
2. slather 1 T sauce spread to edge use more if you want
3. add cheese then your favorite toppings put in toaster oven and bake until cheese is melted.
hope you enjoy.

I've also used flour or corn tortilla shells (soft ones) & done the same thing! Great idea! :)

Pita bread makes a good crust, too. We make pita pizzas for a quick camping meal and bake them in a portable gas grill.
