Afternoon of shopping I came home with Walmart, Dollar General, $Tree, Arby's for free sandwich, & Taco Bell--on their receipts, if you fill out their survey on the ''puter-you are entered in a chance to win cash or prizes. How many of us take the time to fill out the survey? And--does anyone ever actually win??? OR am I the only sucker who takes the time? AND--do you ever sign up for contests on the ''puter? Like HGTV green home or recently Dove had a contest?? AND have you ever won & what????:blah:

I never fill those out or enter anything because 1) I'm pretty sure nobody ever wins and 2) they only do it to get your email address or other details which they can then use to send ads to you or sell to other companies who then send ads to you, and I don't need any more ads in my life. I'd be interested to hear if anyone ever did win.

I saw something on the news that those surveys are just to gather information. I used to enter them all the time. I have never won anything and I don't know anyone that has won anything either.

I never enter them either. Just a way to bug you even more through your email.

I enter the ones that will give me money off my next purchase. My coworkers and I often order the boneless wings from Buffalo Wild Wings on Thursdays when they are .60 cents. Our last receipt had a little survey to take and we now get 6 free wings the next time we order.

The ones here don't ask for my email address. You call and 800 #, punch in a code, go through a survey, then give you a little number to write on your receipt to take with you to the store to get your money off.

I figured they were doing the surveys becuase it's a cheaper way to keep tabs on invididual stores than mystery shoppers and individual inspections. I shopped at the mall a couple weeks ago and every place I went the cashier would give me her name before asking me to fill out the survey. I stopped doing them just because I figured I'd never win and they're kind of annoying.

I try to enter all of ones I get on receipts...especially the Rite Aid ones...like already mentioned, you get $3 off of $15.

I have only filled out one and that was from the Jc Penney. We had received great out of the way personal service and I wanted them to know how a great job the person had done.

It automatically gives you a percent off coupon after you finish the survey. You use to be able to combine that with their other store coupons but I don't think you can any more.
