~Save all your receipts in one place.
~Mark the 'send by' dates on your calender so you won't forget to send them in
~ALWAYS photocopy your receipts, UPC's and rebate forms.I learned the hard way this summer. I didn't copy my info on a $10 rebate and now I have no way of complaining or re-filing
~If you can shop at Walgreens and Rite Aid, DO IT! Their single form/check system is great and the refund comes quickly.
This is a fun hobby to start. My favs are Wal-Mart and Walgreen’s. With Walgreens be sure to request the card. You can find the forms on their websites if you have to. But usually you can find them in the stores. Just ask.
Coupons go hand in hand with this. Some times you can come out a dollar or two ahead.
Just like the prior advice be sure to copy what you send in. I have been known to tape the ups to the form or receipt. Keep a calendar of things coming and going. Actually I have a calendar on the computer that reminds me of when to send in.
Another place to find extra rebates is to look on new products. Sometimes there will be a collar on the product. Just be sure to take a moment to make sure it isn't expired on the send in date!
