hi. i read the post about how to remove perspiration odors from t shirts, thank you for the tip. i have several tops and dresses that i wear to work which are made from different material. i have washed the clothes, soaked them first, pretreated with laundry spray even tried oxyclean, no luck. i like wearing these chothes and want to save them. Any suggestions/ Thank you so much, barbahn

You might want to treat them with Fels-Naptha soap, then wash, then put 1/2 to 1 cup vinegar in the rinse cycle. They won't smell like vinegar, I promise. Even after washing our dog and cat blankets they still smell a little unless I put vinegar in the final rinse. When I do that, they have no odor at all----they just smell clean.

I have also read that using a paste of baking soda on the smelly parts of the items and letting it sit for awhile before washing may help.
