I am looking to switch math curriculums. Right now we are using rod and staff. I have 2 kids that are very tactile learners and wanted to switch to something with manipulatives. math u see is cheaper, but right start math has more manipulatives. I am just wondering about others experiences with these, if they have had any? Thanks!

I only have experience with RightStart Math, but I have heard good things about MUS also. I got RightStart K for my oldest daughter when we were starting out. I liked the program, but it did not fit my daughter's particular style for doing math. The manipulatives have been wonderful to use along with Horizon's Workbooks (our current math curriculum). And the younger girls really like to play with the manipulatives and have learned alot on their own. I am currently pulling out pieces of lessons here and there to use with my 4yr old. Even though we did not stick with it entirely, I am not disappointed in the money we spent on it.
