Roasted soybeans


Recipe Description
Soybeans...roasted. Need I say more? Oh, yeah, you can pay 4x as much for the roasted ones at the grocery store, or just do it yourself! :)
Preparation Steps:
Soak soybeans in water in covered pot for 6 hours.

When ready to cook, preheat oven to 225F.​

Easy​
Time Needed:
8 hours (with soaking)​
Ingredients:
Soybeans​
Serves:
Directions:
Drain soybeans and rinse.

Lay beans flat on cookie sheet and place in pre-heated oven for 1-2 hours, or until lightly brown.​

i dont do christmas and for thanksgiving i ate less then i did the rest of the week. too many good calories = bad gain. i suck when it comes to moderation.

I also eat soybeans quite a bit and my kids love em' I usually eat them steamed with a sprinkling of salt but I'll give roasting a try.

They are VERY addictive. :) The ones at Bel-Air have canola oil and sea salt in their ingredients, so I am thinking about spritzing my next batch with oil and adding salt prior to roasting, to see if that helps the salt stick better.
