Eight Romaine lettuce plants were purchased in flats and placed in individual pots and grown in the greenhouse for about a month.The eight strong rooted plants were placed in the outdoor garden today. Romaine lettuce plants can get quite large. Some is eaten fresh and the remainder is made into juice for off season use.
