Anyone here a romance novel reader? :D

Who's your favorite author? Favorite book?

Primarily, I read historicals in the Regency and Victorian period but I like Harlinquin Presents as well and the "In Death" series by Robb is quickly becoming a favorite too.

Jude Deveraux was the author that got me on romance almost two decades ago! Her A Knight in Shining Armor is still one of my favorites.

And I love Julia Quinn! I cannot wait until she has a new book out. It seem like it's been forever.

Julie Garwood is the best! I love her old historical, but haven't gotten into her romantic suspense yet.

Amanda Quick too; Seducation is one of the best romances I've ever read.
I love romance novels! I especially like the ones set in the late 1800's in the Wild West!

I love her characters, they're all so fun to read. She has a very witty style of writing that I enjoy reading. BTW, did you know that Julia Quinn was once on an episode of that gameshow "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire" as a contestant?

Julie Garwood is my absolute favorite, but I also like Jude Devereaux and some Harlequins.
Julie Garwood and Amanda Quick. Also like Nora Robert.s
When I'm in my romance kick I too read Amanda Quick and love JD Robbs "In Death" sereis. (I love those kick butt heroines!!!) I also really like Jane Feather. Several years back I was really into Cassie Edwards "Savage" series. I tend to gravitate in my romance reading, as in all my reading, to something that catches my fancy at the time and then devour every thing I can related to it. Examples ...romances set in old England, anything by a particular author, Native American romances, Strong female leads, and so on. Just depends on my current kick.
I absolutely love Julie Garwood, but if you like the time-travel type of romance, go for Karen Moning. She has a whole series of time traveling highlanders. Gotta love those highlanders!!!
There isn't an author here that I haven't read, with the exception of Karen Moning. I guess it goes to show that if you live long enough you can read them all. I have had brown paper bags of books dropped on my door step more than once. Lately I have been reading mysteries because my mil has joined a book club and we are in the mystery mode.
I have read so many books it's amazing I still rem most of them. I used to be able to pick up random books in the library and look at the cover and go 'read it'...lol. I esp love romance. I like Lyndsy Sands,Victoria Holt(had a jr high teacher get me into those),Susan Krinard,Teresa Southwick,Merline Lovelace,Bronwyn Williams,etc...way to many to name. I love the historical and fantasy(ex time traveling,futuristic-like the 2176 Series) also.
Nora Roberts is my absolute favorite. I also like Iris Johanson, Hude Devereaux - geez, I like all of them! Oh and Karen Robards, too!
I love romance novels. I'll read just about any kind but my favorites tend to be either western romance novels(with the lead man a cowboy of course) or my new thing is war between the states era romance novels. Love em.
I love to read as well, my favorite authors include Diana Palmer, Catherine Anderson, Elizabeth Lowell......not a big fan of her mystery stuff......more of her earlier stuff and Linda Howard's Mackenzie series!
my favorite keeper authors are linda howard and sandra brown. i also like the new stephenie meyer trilogy.
i love nora roberts, bertrice small, and julie garwood.
for some reason, i can't stand danielle steel. i am not sure what it is about her writing, but i just can't get into it.
that use to be all I read but I`ve ventured out more.
