DH and I often talk to a Russian man, Nik, who comes into our store every month or so. I think he's quite lonely as he's always up for a long talk and he lives alone. He an architect and lectures on that topic at one of the universities in our capital city.
Yesterday, DH brought home a delicious loaf of German rye bread. Nik gave it to him as he thought we'd like to try bread from his local baker. I thought it was such a nice gesture and thought that when we sell the store, we'll invite Nik to our home for an occasional meal. That way we'll stay in touch and I'm sure we'd all enjoy it.
Isn't it wonderful the way that one ROAK can trigger a greater friendship. DH and I have always liked Nik but until now I'd never thought of leaving him behind when we sell the store.
