Good morning sleepyheads. Hope you are all feeling well. I got up at 9 after a good night of sleep. So far I have filled out and application, got DH's prescriptions ready to send off for mailorder, set the ham out of the freezer for dinner tomorrow, got the Harley payment ready to mail, called BIL to see if they wanted to meet us for dinner this evening, made out shopping list and got coupons ready. I won't be doing any housework since it is shopping day. That is always a full day of running. Hope you all have a good day.

I am slowly getting started here. I already took the big dog for a long walk and have gotten the laundry put away. The plans for today include finishing my inventory of what we have in the freezer, doing the grocery shopping, and taking the middle kid to a birthday party. The good news is that since I spent nothing this week and stayed home enough to keep gas in the tank for next week the birthday present won't impact our budget. Yeah! Now to find the motivation to finish cleaning this place....

today is crazy cold!! It is very windy out also. Tonights dinner will be chili, yumm, I have the beans cooking now & the hamburger meat is thawing out. I have started making door snakes for our entry doors & the front coat closet. I swear there is no insulation in the closet, so it is a project for us to do this summer. Strip to the bones & put in some insulation!! Just need to get some more rice to fill the snakes with. I am hoping it will make a big difference in our heating bill.

I am just planning on going to the grocery store, cleaning up the house and doing any dirty laundry I can find. Looks like I might have enough for 1 load today!! YAHOO

No spending other then the groceries today so I will take that to the bank! :)

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!

Not much here. I'm freezing. Its 25 out windchill in the teens. I have chills really bad. Sinus headache again. So my youngest daughter cleaned the kitchen and upstairs bathroom. Hubby is doing laundry and im laying in bed. Everytime i lay down i get all stuffed up and feels like someone is shoving a pillow in my face. So will relax today.
Mega snow here today!

I got up before the kiddos and did a nice big cleaning of the kitchen and got the laundry done. DD10 has been cleaning her room all day. It really wasn't bad enough to warrant all day, but I wouldn't let her out untiul it was done.

As for me, I beaded until my fingers feel like they will fall off. I had this idea for lanyards at work - we all have to wear them. I made a bunch of different beaded ones that are really pretty. The beads came from leftover inventory from my store. So no current cost and I'm going to try and sell them for $20 each. Wish me luck with this little endeavour!

I also made homemade enchiladas for supper...always delicious! Now I'm going to curl up and read! I hope you all have had a great day today!

Relaxing day here today. Slept in. Took the recycles to the center. Delivered shopping to my parents, vacuumed carpets for them & visited. Vacuumed at my house, done dishes, cleaned out frig and took out the trash. Then took a shower and mini nap.

Reviewed my budget and decided we spend a lot of money on soda and junk-food we need to work on that.

Overall a really good day.

Nana - I'm feeling the same kinda sick too. Sinus headache trying to settle in, feel like my heads in the clouds and if I turn my head, everything turns with a delay. :ugh: Just feeling tired and run down after a super great nights sleep and a few catnaps plus a long one this afternoon.

DF's ankle is sore like a madman so he's been playing on the computer resting with his foot up. They took away his air boot so he has to start walking on it and using it again. He's in MEGA pain :(

Dad has decided to go play in the snow and snow blowed (with success) the drive and sidewalk and cooked dinner with a lil help ;) I pulled it all out to thaw so he had to do the minimal amount of cooking. Dishwasher aftewards - thank goodness!

Basically a cozy, lazy snow day here and day of rest for all. :)
