I don't know if they are just in New England or not... Bldg 19 is kinda like Big Lots, but I think dirtier. It feels like a giant warehouse. They are great for cheap name-brand shoes, luggage, carpets, etc. I have had GREAT luck with their food! They get in some fresh Portuguese Sweet Muffins, baked fresh, but other than that everything is super cheap and most of it is in fine packaging. Yesterday I got:

2 pkg Newman's Own alphabet cookies- $.88 each
3 pkg. Country Choice organic sandwich cookies- $1.11 each
a 12-pack of quarts of silk vanilla soymilk- the shelf-stable kind- $8.39 (these retail for $1.99 each when they are on sale)

So, I guess I may be starting a little stockpile for myself! I could not pass up the soymilk.

They carry lots of marinades, Newman's Own salad dressings, Dancing Deer Bakery cookie mixes... but as with everything, it is hit or miss.

I've never heard of them but you did get some deals and a nice start to your stockpile. Nice job.
