Scout Donuts

Recipe Description
Easy to make sugar donuts
Preparation Steps:
1) In a pot, heat up your vegetable or canola oil.
2) While the oil is heating up, open your can of biscuits.
3) Separate the biscuits
4) Using a small circle cutter (I use a bottle cap from a 2-liter soft drink), cut out your donut holes. Keep the holes.
5) Put a good amount of confectioners sugar in a large zip-lock bag.
Level of Difficulty:
Easy
Time Needed:
15 minutes
Ingredients:
1/4 cup to 1/2 cup Vegetable or canola oil
Can (or cans) of biscuits
Confectioners sugar
Serves:
varies
Directions:
When the oil is hot, use tongs to carefully add 3 to 4 donuts to the oil. Let them fry until the the bottoms are golden brown, then flip them and repeat. This will not take long.

Once both sides are golden brown, remove from the oil and place the donuts on some paper towels to drain.

Don't forget the donut holes! Cook them the same way!

Once the donuts are drained, place them into the bag of confectioners sugar and shake until they are covered. You can also use a mixture of cinnamon-sugar as well.

As you make more donuts, you may need to add oil.

Remove them and enjoy.
