~My backlog of sewing projects is getting overwhelming! I need to catch up before I start making gifts.

A sewing retreat is a weekend where you set aside other tasks(or do them ahead of time if pressing), stay home, stay sequestered as much as possible, and attack your sewing to-dos. It's more fun if you run a movie marathon or listen to audiobooks or music as you go.

Participants here list their project plans, progress and pictures before, during and after the weekend. It's super motivating!

Anyone want to do this on a weekend in October? Personally, the weekend of the 9-11th would work best for me.~

Sounds like a fun and great idea. I really need to get my apples and pears done though before I could commit to the idea. But I have a christening dress from wedding dress scraps to do. ( I remade her wedding dress into another project and there are enough scraps left to do a christening dress with. Not a long skirt part. and she is pregnant with her 3rd due in December, and that is my goal date) and then just fun stuff for me on my current list. Good luck with the idea

Have been hit hard with the current crud going around. Thus no work on either the apples or the pears. have been down for at good solid 5 days and still feel blah. So still have to get those applse and pears done before I can sew.
