Hi all.. I buy the small candles at Walmart that are only a dollar but they come in these really nice jars that are clear glass complete with a tight fitting lid, the kind that has the dome top and a plastic gasket to fit snugly into the jar. They are kind of small, (votive candle size) can't really hold much but I hate to keep throwing them away! I have several nieces and nephews coming in for Christmas and wish there was a little something I could make for them with these jars. (They range in ages 17 - 6) Candy would be good except that candy is so "old news" now and is eaten everyday, I do not want to do things such as colored sand or the like.. am really stumped.. ideas would be soo appreciated!

I was thinking along the line of the bath salt or facial scrub line too.........like the other poster. There are some great facial scrub recipes and the older ones would probably like these.

You could do different scents. These are super cheap to make other than the scent part...........could even color them.
