Soap...I don't have the patience for the poof and the gel, etc. I also never feel like I'm getting a good enough lather with a gel.

As a rule I won't pay for gels-too expensive! I usually buy bar soaps, just got some on clearance for $.10 a bar(well,a few monthes back-but got about 30 bars!)

I used to use Dove until I made some melt and pour soap. It is a lot more mosturizing and lasts twice as long as bar soap.

I was using gel for both face and body. I noticed my face was too dry so I switched back to soap for my face (Kirk's castile soap). I did notice the gel lasts a lot longer than bar soap cause all I need is a little squirt on the poof and I can lather up my body for a long time whereas the bar soap would melt and get wasted in the soap dish and left soap scum on the walls of the shower and shower curtain.

Someone told me that gel would eliminate the soap scum on my shower walls and floor, so I tried it. It worked! I will never use bar soap in my shower again.

Usually gel, bar soap if I'm out.
