Spicy Chickpea Snack

Preparation Steps:

3 prep | 15 cook​
Ingredients:
1 can chick peas
2 - 4 tablespoon cooking oil
1 tablespoon each Cajun spice and chili powder
1 teaspoon each salt and pepper​
Serves:
4​
Directions:
Preheat oven at 400F

Drain and rinse chick peas.

Pour oil into baking pan, add spices, mix well.

Add chick peas and mix till well coated.

Place in oven for 15-20 minutes or until crunchy. Stir once half way. Enjoy cold or hot.

I like to eat these instead of chips or other junk while I watch a movie.​

any. i'm a black pepper and parsley kinda girl myself.

Thanks. Those sound wonderful. I love chick peas. I would rather much on something with some nutritional value than chips.

ok, i tried it. it's a keeper. i used plain salt. yum.

I followed the recipe you posted. Hubby loved them (and he hates chickpeas as is). For me, I think I will use either half the amount of seasonings or twice as much chickpeas.

I may also try them with other seasonings.
