I received a $50 gift card to ShopRite from my parents for Christmas. So, I went to ShopRite this morning and decided to use the card to stock up. I bought a large box of diapers, a large box of wipes, 28 rolls of toilet paper, 10 rolls of wrapping paper that was marked down to $0.12 a roll (The wrapping paper was blue...that's it...just blue, so I'm all set for birthday parties all year long), 4 bags of Peppermint Patties that were marked down to $0.50 a bag and wrapped in red which I can reuse for the party bags for Dd's birthday party in February. The total was $49.99. :)

Good job, Amy! I like the way you think ahead and bought solid color wrapping paper to use for birthdays, etc. and purchased inexpensive party favors for birthday parties instead of paying full price when the day arrives. Way to go!!!

Sounds like a great haul, AmyBoz. Especially on a gift card! We don't have any here in the frozen north, so I'm curious, are the ShopRite stores similar to ALDI? (Private label products at reduced prices).

No, ShopRite is just a regular, chain grocery store. I'm familiar with Aldi from my college days in Wooster, Ohio.
