Hi everyone :)
Just wanted to ask all of you -how do you store excess fresh produce?
I purchased 2 10# bags of potaotes the other day - I have about 3#'s in the potato bin. What's the best way to store the excess?
I don't want them to go to waste before I can use them up.

How about other types of produce?

What can you freeze without cooking? Grapes,strawberries,bananas- anything else?

Thanks for suggestions:D

You can cut them into french fries and partially cook them, flash freeze and store in the freezer. Potatoe soup?

You can keep potatoes in the refrigerator. I usually just freeze peas and greens. I blanche peas before I freeze them. I freeze greens (turnips, rutubagas, radish tops) that have been fully cooked. You can also freeze blueberries and blackberries without cooking them. You can freeze them without washing them or either wash them and spread them out to dry before you freeze them.
