Hi,
Has anyone out there every tried surfing or boogie boarding? I'm taking a woman's only boggie boarding workshop this month and if I like it I'm going for the surfing workshop. Just wondered if anybody had any comments on it?

Rhi

(P.S. I'm a little terrified but I'm tired of avoiding trying new things because I'm scared of them) :smball:

Can't say I have, but I used to like to skateboard. lol I know hardly the same. I would have tried snowboarding years ago, but not now. I have zippo coordination these days. (not to mention a bad shoulder)

Driving in 5 pm traffic is as "extreme" as I get.
;)

Have fun. Good for you getting out and doing some fun things. :)

I used to boogie board as a teenager (years ago) and loved it!!! My neighbor was Mike Stewart (he invented the el rollo move in boogie boarding and is one of the all time best boogie boarders around) and he helped teach me (he was still a teen at the time also). I'll never forget us trying to out swim the sharks that were coming in to feed at sunset.
