DH asked if I wanted to ride to town with him because he wanted some nachos. That didn't bother me because I was already full from eating. But I decided to go ahead and get something to drink. I got a Diet Dr. Pepper, something I normally would drink, and I didn't drink even 1/4 of it. I guess when you start to change your eating habits your body starts refusing the old habits. I was so excited, becuase I really was suppose to have anything with caffenine in it, according to the Atkins book.

I just didn't know they would start changing so fast.

You are so right, I feel the same way! So many things now just don't interest me and if you had have told me that a month or two ago I wouldn't have believed you!! I really think for me drinking the water helps too (ok CJ, you were right!!:D ). I was making cookies for the kids the other day and I didn't even sneak a bite of the batter..........now that is highly unusual!!

Proud of you Michelle!!:smball:

Wow, Heather, you have strong will power. I haven't made any cookies yet. I hope I can hold back and not sneak a taste..:D

Michelle, I totally agree with you. It is very interesting how your body changes when you make healthy changes!!

I've always loved chicken and especially the skin - now when I cook it, it doesn't even bother me not to have the skin or any of the chicken. When I bake cookies for the kids, I don't even want to have a taste!!

And Pepsi, well I use to drink 2 litres a day. Now I can't even sip it because it tastes gross!!

Our bodies are saying thank you and thats how its showing us that we've made good changes!!

Heather, good for you in not eating the cookie batter!! Want in on a little secret, that use to be my favorite thing to do when I made cookies!!! ;)

I love the new change!!

WTG with your healthy choices too CJ!!! I think you are right...our bodies way of thanking us!
