The 2 new ladies are causing such a commotion in the hen coop.
Not because THEY are making a noise but the other 'ladies' (and I use that term very loosely) are complaining very loudly. They almost seem to be shouting aloud about their grievances.
I even went to the coop this morning and rattled their cage - so to speak.
After a while it became VERY funny. One of the white hens went into brood and was followed by one of the brown hens. They started to fight. It ended with the two of them sitting next to each other brooding quietly with their butts towards the entrance which meant that they sat with their beaks towards a wall.
As soon as the weather picks up (that is - it stops pouring down with rain) I'll take some photos and post them.
