well we came up with a resolution to the tax issue which i am sure is the the best way to go in Daves eyes and as much as i try to follow the rules and respect what he has to say - he doesnt have the chronic medical issues i have that are actually what took us from being free from debt except a mortgage back in 1999 to the debt we are paying off now .
we had an offer for a personal loan thru discover 8.99%
our credit despite the debt is very good because we pay on time have paid off vehicles early and most times pay more than minimum.
we took enough to pay the taxes and consolidate two of the higher interest 19.99% credit cards .
took it at 5 years to keep the payment in a place we felt comfy with but there is no early pay off fees and we will continue to plow at it the same way we were before.
i feel bad taking a step back but if my health goes to where it was the 7 years ago i am back where i cant make any income and in the long run thats alot worse then 5,000 backstep.
i have to sit back and look at the fact that despite the fact i have been gazelle like enough to pay off 15000 in debt the past year i have also been sick alot more the past year than i have been the past 2 years and reality has hit me that its not a race to the end -
i can take smaller gazelle leaps if need be .
The extra 5000 easily will be gone by end of year without a 2 month deadline to do it and the lower interest rate for the rest of the debt will help i am sure too.
we are readjusting our #s dh claims and i think i actually plan on cutting back some work hours to decrease the stress on my body .
anyway not the best circumstances - but wanted to be honest about it
