Well, definitely a spend day... Having the oil changed on our car and the brakes checked.

Our carpets have needed cleaning for a while, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend $110 (like last time! ouch!). A friend had just rented a carpet cleaner a couple weeks ago... She said it worked great and had some leftover cleaning solution I could have! I rented it for $30 and the solution she gave me was enough for our place! Woot! MUCH better than $110!!!

I haven't been a tightwad at all today. I had to go grocery shopping this morning. I also had to pickup some gifts for my west coast friends. I searched for my DS a birthday gift but I didn't find anything. I came home and picked up the house, put dinner in the crockpot, and finished laundry. I need to iron but I am not in the mood.

It was a no spend day for me today! Yahoo! I definitely needed one.

I made coffee at home and took it with me to work in a thermos. I packed my lunch, but realized that I had a lunch meeting so tomorrow's lunch is already packed.

As a bonus, I worked 3 hours of overtime. That extra money is going straight to my credit card!
