I've been running a fever of 101 since at least 2:30 am. My throat is so sore, I can barely swallow my own saliva or ice water, and every muscle in my body hurts.

I'm going to lose at least 8 hours of overtime pay this week, charge nurse pay for today and who knows what else


And at this point, I'm too sick to really care. I got up, called in to work- got the kids up and off to work/school and went back to bed until 12:00!

Sounds like you have a nasty old virus. Please try to rest, drink fluids when you can and then rest some more. I hope you feel much better real soon.

Thanks everyone- I'm still running a fever, even with taking Tylenol or Motrin every 4 hours all day. My throat is a bit better- and dh made chicken noodle soup for supper
