Vermont Maple Chicken


Recipe Description
Easy and tasty...a family favorite​
Preparation Steps:

Easy​
Time Needed:
50 minutes​
Ingredients:
1/4 cup flour
salt and pepper, to taste
4 boneless skinless chicken breast
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon sage
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1 onion, sliced
1/2 cup water​
Serves:
Directions:
1 Place flour, salt and pepper in a ziplock bag ,a dd chicken to bag and shake to coat evenly; set aside. Melt butter in a large skillet, cook chicken until lightly browned. Remove skillet from the heat and drizzle maple syrup over the chicken, turning to coat completely.

2. Sprinkle chicken with with herbs; place onion slices on top to cover chicken . Add water to skillet.

3. Bake, uncovered, in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Turn chicken over; continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes.​
