1-1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
3 tbsp cocoa
6 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup cold water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Sift all dry ingredients into an ungreased 9x9 inch cake pan.
Make a well in the center and pour the oil, vinegar, vanilla and cold water into it. (the vinegar will make the baking soda fizz)
Mix well with a fork until smooth, but do not over mix.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
Frost while still in the pan. While the cake is hot, place the squares from a Hershey Bar on top of the cake and let it melt a little. Spread evenly with a spatula. Serve right from the pan cut in squares.
