I am sure this depends on where you are, but in the Northern Illinois area my Walmart is starting to put in barbecues and plants (even though it's snowing at the moment!) and winter stuff is on clearance sale. I bought several shirts, long sleeved, but light weight enough for spring, anyway, for $5 and a space heater for $10, original price $35 - I use one in my basement when working down there, as it never really heats up. The one I have there now still works, so this one is being stored, but I know I'll need it eventually.

Our Wal-mart's winter clearance was a while ago.

Now it is all spring and summer stuff even though it is still coats and snow boot weather. LOL
