The 'tear drop" was invented in the 1930's to pull behind a car
as a way to camp with inside sleeping accomodations. The cars
back then only had about 60 hp at best so small was the way to go.
A well built Teardrop today can be pulled by any car on the market.

There is a growing movement to get back to basics with the Teardrop
being a great way to camp dry & warm. There are many sited devoted
to the this little gem with most being homebuilt from easily available
plans. You can customize a Teardrop anyway you want to with any
kitchen configuration and sleeping configuration you can build.

Google Teardrops to enter this wonderful enchanting world.
