So far, I've dropped DH & work with all his fixins, paid a few bills online and um have been huddled under a blankie on the couch watching tv resting my shoulder/arm and trying to avoid going outside unless its absolutely necessary.
Heatwave + humidity = no fun.
Lil did dad know that I stealthily turned on the A/C a few days ago when the heatwave began but set it to turn on at 80*F this way there was some comfort provided. Yesterday, he turned to me and asked if I could turn it on for him b/c he was too hot. (this coming from the man drenched in sweat, panting and dehydrated always denying that its even warm outside) So besides being in total shock, I turned down the thermostat to 78*F so it turns on sooner and more often and he seems to be happy. As a result, the basement = a meat locker. :laugh:
